I'm thinking maybe about a Lother Walter barrel (24") for my Sheridan 2260, any thoughts and who would I get it from?

I don't know where you would get a LW barrel specifically for your gun. You can buy a LW barrel directly from LW and have a gunsmith fit (machine) the barrel to your gun. I would talk to a gunsmith first, before ordering the barrel.

Roy seems a good choice to me also.
No need for any rizer as long as you use an LW close in size, maybe the 11mm.
Any decent machinist ( try a gun shop with a true Smith ) should be able to do the work, if they want to and you have the old parts to measure.

I'd love to be able to get the HW barrels again in the U.S. but I dont think anyone imports them and direct sales to the U.S. no longer exists(?).
The single best .22 barrel I ever had was a .22 16 mm 25" ( roughly translated ) a true 1 hole barrel at 25 yards and MOA at 100.
Anyone know of a source for these in the States?
