Pigeonman these deer that I post on here along with yard ornaments topic are pretty much just that. I am in fact a hunter but I also raise deer. I used to have 25-30 head of bison. (which not long ago was a threatened/endangered species)The bison were very beautiful also. We do take out the older ones as needed they will only live usually about 7 years in the wild and about 10-12 years on a ranch such as mine. The biggest problem we have is bobcats and yotes (which we hunt and trap to keep in check) although a few has been killed by people letting there dogs run free. We are in the processes of changing up some fencing so we can get some other species. I am not one these great big ranches you here about in Texas but it is in fact ranches that raise these different exotics that keep them OFF the endangered species list. Or worst yet extinction. You can not get attitude or expression through the computer but I want you to know I am not being a smart a$$. I try to help people to understand there is a lot more than just killing. Hope these few little info nuggets help.
