New Air Wolf is having trouble shooting 1/2 in group at 50 yrds.

What I read, each barrel is different. There are some similarities based on what others also posted that Daystate barrels are choked close to 5.50mm. But even if you use the same pellet head size from various brands they may fly differently based on their own design specs, your rifle twist, velocity, etc. May want to do a search for some of Yrrah (Harry) postings, he had some details experiments and empirical data posted using various rifles and pellet brands.

If you did not sign up yet, may want to join the Daystate Owner's Club (DOC) where they have detailed and specific information on your rifle.

Hi Dsdaystate

it may help to look at my posts under PCP airguns, Airwolf MCT

Think others make a valid point re 5.51 or 5.52. My posts are with JSB 15.9 in 5.52. Will have to try the 5.51.
Agree also that to expect better than .5 inch at 50 yards is asking a lot. Feel that consistent groups at or around that figure are what to aim for. If you haven't tried it, vary your hold. Same goes for my Vulcan, all in the way one holds it!

safe shooting
