New Air rifle Smoking

Got my Benjamin Summitt 2 days ago. Put about 30 -50 through it. Semeed ok, first shot definetly dieseled but wasn't expecting it to continue. The sound got quiter, but even now the shots are causing smoke to come out, didn't want to risk it so I came here. Is the smoke normal ? 
Any advice ?

Pretty normal for a new gun. It will do it till all the factory lube gets burnt out. Just shoot it and break it in.

Have you cleaned it? All of my new airguns have needed cleaning, some more than others but they all needed a good bore cleaning.

I have not cleaned it. I'm fairly new to air gunning, I don't know any good kits, could you recommend me a cheap option ?

This tool and a old white t-shirt cut into patches is all you should need. I would suggest using a good solvent with the first few patches to get the gunk out, then oil with the rest of the patches till thy come out clean. Then a few dry patches and you're good to go.

It's normal even with the high end spring rifles. Especially HW's in my experience. Just keep on shooting and it will eventually go away.

Hey, don't clean your air rifle with a metal cleaning rod. That wrecks the barrel. Get a crown saver from mac1 Airguns. It like a boresnake

I use a Carbon Fiber cleaning rod in my gun. Made just for .177 and 17HMR's. Works
great.

My 48 smoked for 1500 or so shots when new and hasn't smoke since. BTW, I cleaned both of my springers when new with Hoppes #9, clean dry patches, lightly oiled patches and then clean dry patches again until clean. And I used the dreaded fishing line to pull the patches through.

Wally world carries aa 17/22 rod and have 17 and 22 brushes and swabs. I got a rod for a few bucks and the brushes I think were about $2 each and hopes9 was about 5. Paper towels or old shirt/undies work good as patches. Gamo sells a snake kit for about 15 but I don't care for snakes
