Looks good, especially on the Red Wolf. Don't forget to save your older 480 or 580 bottles if you are going to shoot at EBR next year. Unless they change the rules, the maximum bottle size is 580cc.

So, now I have received my two bottles. I installed the FX valve into one of them and put it on my Impact M3. Filled it with air (to 230 Bar) and everything works as it should. My question is now, can I fill this to 300 bar, even though the M3 actually has 250 bar max pressure marked on it? Similarly, the pressure gauge only goes up to 250 bar, not 300 like on my older impact MK2.
Any suggestions for changing out the gauge to one that reads up to at least 300 bar?

Chris,
I think that the 300bar fill question is best left up to FX USA Service. Heck, I don't even fill my 250bar FX guns normally beyond about 235 or they seem to get kind of internally 'tight'. But I also haven't even tried full 250B fills on my double regulated FX's, just out of habit I guess. And I am almost always convenient to an air supply.
The Impacts use 1/8" BSPP threaded gauges, and changing out the gauge is easy. Degas, thread the old one out, thread the new one in, if leaks use the new seal which came with the new gauge. If sealing on an o-ring, don't overtighten or you will get zero reading on your gauge.
The last 315 bar 1/8" BSPP gauge I bought was this one from Trenier.

BUT VERIFY WITH FX FIRST BEFORE BUYING THE NEW GAUGE AND FILLING TO 300.
Thanks Tom. I am going to call FX USA in the morning. For now I probably won’t go up to 300,(heck, I never take either my Leshiy 2 or my Huben K1 up to 300) but it would be nice to know. In any event after reading your post I went to Trenier and ordered one of the gauges.

From what I recall, the 300bar valve has more threading on it. It's more of a safety thing. Threads go all the way down the length of the valve vs about halfway with the 250bar version.

The 300 bar valves do have more threads. However that’s not really my issue. I already have new valves from FX and they are the fully threaded 300 bar ones. I know (or at least assume) the bottle/valve combo will handle 300 bar. The question is whether the M3 will handle 300 bar, since the markings on the gun actually say “Max Pressure 250 bar”
i dunno .. if bench shooting why not just tether off it ..
Some of the bench shooting disciplines don't allow tethering or filling once the match is started. If a person shot alot of sighters, like some do, the larger tank would be handy. But for casual bench shooting, not much of a need. Just my 2 cents....
Can someone please confirm if this is the correct bottle for my M3?

All of the post have been referring to direct shipments from "Helen" in China.
At $209 including shipping is this a better deal than ordering direct from "Helen?
Thanks in advance. Rod in San Francisco
Chriss, thats good intel. Thanks.
Can you or another member confirm that I only need to remove the valve from the existing M3 bottle and then screw it on the new 700cc bottle?
Wham Bam, Thank you Ma'am ?
I just ordered 5 of these last night. Helen made me a little table which showed the price per bottle with the shipping cost (to California) included, and to me 5 seemed to be the sweet spot - $158 each. I didn't want to get stuck having to pay that high base shipping again. Already have one going to an AGN buddy... maybe I should have ordered more!
