there are 2 different AEA .357 challengers, gen-1 is bolt action and gen-2 is sidelever "BigBore".
both have different mags. the gen1 will not accept projectiles that the gen-2 does.
just to be clear on your statements.

Are you sure? On gen 1 and 2?. I know of 30 inch barrel is bolt and 32 inch is side lever

I have shot plenty of those. The 93 grain .357 version was very accurate in my gun in the 860 to 865 fps range. With my new mods, I can throw them at 975 plus fps, but the accuracy drops. I have read of lots of people seeing accuracy from my speeds up to around 890 fps. Recently while messing around I noticed accuracy starting to come back in the 920 to 930 fps range with the .356's. I think it may be a function of barrel whip causing the issues. The harder they are pushed the more the barrel may need to be tensioned or supported. I am hoping FX gets a heavy barrel released soon and bullet central developed a decent tensioner.

When I was shooting in the mid 860 fps range, I was able to take coyotes, turkeys, and rabbits from 50 to over 200 yards. NSA makes great ammo, I just need to retune my gun back in.
