New .25 Bullboss sudden loss of power

Hi all,
Sorry for all the "take take take" posts (requests for info), as soon as I get rifle sorted i'll start throwing something useful and fun on the board!

ISSUE: sudden loss of power. Still shoots, but a lot quieter and at about 50% power.

TROUBLESHOOTING EFFORTS: removed barrel, changed what I believe to be breech seal. Conducted the tissue test (tissue at breech during firing). Still slight puff of air at breech when fired. No change or improvement in power.

If it is not the breech seal, should I be looking elsewhere? I've seen a lot of discussion on hammer springs etc, do those things inadvertently go haywire and need to be re-tightened at some point? Anything else I should look at?

A million thank you's for your input!
Best,
Scott

Maybe the air cylinder is not screwed in tightly. If it's tight in the base, perhaps the air cylinder valve/spring might be the culprit. Try draining out all the air, then press the valve tip with your finger and see it it moves freely up and down. If it doesn't I'm guessing the spring might be damaged. If the valve tip is bent or flattened then that is the problem.

Thanks for the tips.
I’ve had the rifle past 30-day return period or else I’d send it back asap! Will attempt the warranty route next if I can’t get it working to spec.

I looked at the cylinder connection per above advice and although difficult, the pin does move freely which I feel is indicative of healthy spring.

i replaced barrel o-rings, cylinder o-rings as well as breech o-ring. No change. Abysmal lack of power.

‘going to investigate hammer spring next. If no success will be sending it in to brand name company for repair. What a bummer!!!!!
