What a joy it is to NOT hand-pump!

Reg at 2000psi, rifle at 4000psi, 1.5 turns on the hammer - - So far, shooting Crossman 14.3gr hollow points. Getting 55 shots from 4000psi down to regulated 2000psi.

Does that sound about right to you guys?

Wish I knew. I guess a crono is my next purchase. It never ends, huh?

You might want to bring down your regulator a little bit to increase your shot count. I had mine set to 1800 w/ 1.25 HS and got about 75 good shots in the 890 - 870 FPS range using CPHP 14.3gr pellets. I didn't have great results with accuracy using the CPHP pellets, they seemed inconsistent and I found it to be frustrating.

John, sent you a text yesterday to check in but it seems like you're enjoying your experience so far. Glad the YH and the gun are working out for you. Somewhere in the upper 800's for FPS seems to be the ideal speed for a majority of pellet shooters. Having a chrony is a good (& necessary) thing but yet ANOTHER investment. This hobby/activity is called a money pit or rabbit hole for a reason but, boy is it fun! (PM or text me about a chrony)
