Neil sent me these to quite the bark. 

Both make the gun the same OAL.

both have the same report at least to my ears. The vermin won’t hear it any way.

Shroud type or muzzle break type?

Shroud type for me, I have always liked the bull barrel/shroud look. Either way those are both very nice!

I like the shroud type myself. Neil makes a quality product and is a great guy.

The Shroud looks much better in my opinion and probably is marginally quieter due to the greater volume.

Another vote for the shroud. Nothing wrong with a muzzle break type but to me a shroud makes the barrel look cleaner.
