Need some guidance in applying grease to HW95

If one applies too much Moly grease on the mainspring, https://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Air_Venturi_Moly_Metal_to_Metal_Paste_1_oz/3498), will that effectively decrease velocity? By applying a lot, I mean putting in chunks of moly grease on the mainspring and guide rod.

You only need to put a THIN coat on spring. To much is worse than to little. Don

If you want to decrease velocity you clip the spring or get a different spring. If your already stripping it all the way down it makes the most sense. I would say do not over apply grease just for a decreased fps if that's even true.
