Need new scope for benjamin Maximus

I've got a Center Point 6x32 AO scope on my Maximus.
I'd like to get something better but understand, I paid $150 for the Maximus brand new.
I varmint hun 25 t0 50 yards max.
Any suggestion?

I can't say for sure, but I thing somethings wrong with the Centerpoint. It will hold zero all today, but next day I need to adjust l/r and up down 4 or 5 clicks.

All hardware is tight.

Thanks!

I really like the Hawke 2-7x32 AO scopes on my Maximus & Discovery,
One is an AMX (pricy) and the other is Illuminated etched reticle
Hawke also makes one with a wire reticle
They occasionally show up used in the classifieds and also go on sale at Amazon less frequently.
That said
Are you certain the POI change is due to the scope?
On the Maximus it could be flex in the barrel
A 2nd barrel band fixed that on my 22 cal Maximus

Perhaps other Maximus owners will chime in

Hope this helps

I have the TDK Suppressor on the barrel and I've often thought that the barrel being unshielded with the added length of the TDK could be causing inaccuracy.
I just read something about using shims from a piece of pop can helps, but I like the idea of an extra barrel band.
Where do I get that part?
They’re the same as the Benjamin Discovery’s and Crosman 2240 pistol’s.

I don’t use OEM though and much prefer Don Cothran ones in brass or stainless.

Much better tolerance and the twin side set screws pushes the barrel up.
