Need ideas/help finding a new scope

Criteria:

FFP

Fairly fine(not super thick) reticle at higher magnification(the ones some people complain about being hard to see at lower power)

Fairly clean mil reticle with dot in center(no "Christmas tree")

Turrets/tracking good enough to dial/click, and big enough to hold marking tape

Parallax focus down to 10 yards

Magnification- good enough to see .22 slug holes at +100 yards(good quality 18 or 20x is fine)

Extra super duper glass "quality" is lower priority

Budget $2000

I think parallax to 10 makes this a challenge.

If you havent tried one yet I recommend the Alpha 6 by Aim sports. Its at optics planet for $200 free shipping if within usa. It's 4427x50 and beats most if not all scopes under $999. Odoyle first put me on it and I am amazed at how good that glass really is. It's SFP, if it really matters with.

Maybe have a look at the Delta stryker hd 4.5-30x56 with the LRD-1T reticle? Not the lightest but it ticks all the other boxes 

Edit: Missed your 10yd parallax want. This goes down to 25 or so yds

Yep, thanks for trying to help. I love the Deltas. My SFP 5-50 Stryker ticks all the boxes except FFP. The FFP 4.5-30 Stryker/Javelin tick all boxes except 10 parallax.

Was hoping I didn't need to extend the budget any higher(into the "March range"), but it looks like that where I'm heading

Who in the USA is the actual authorized warranty center who actually REPAIRS the Delta Strykers under warranty? Or do you have to send then out of the country for WARRANTY?

Don't know. Mine have functioned flawlessly.

Since Element came out with the new and improved FFP Helix(which supposedly has much better turrents for clicking), why do they ONLY offer it with a dirty holdover(Christmas tree style) reticle?????

When I was researching Helix FFP, I saw a YouTube video where I recall it being said that they believed that the FFP version of the scope was likely to appeal more to shooters who would prefer to dial so they were offering it with only the Christmas tree reticle. I can't recall which video it was.

You could also email Element Optics directly and ask them. I've sent them inquiries a few times and they've gotten back to me very quickly.

I guess my point is- if they have made the scope better for dialing, then why ONLY offer it with an unneeded HOLDOVER reticle? Seems counterintuitive.

Buy it from a return friendly dealer. Maybe mine was defective but it wasn't clear at max power and it's made in Japan. The Cheaper Nightforce SHV and Sightron SIII and lower mag cheaper Tract Toric pretty much spanked it.

The glass on all 3 lines of the Element does not warrant their asking price IMHO. If they were retailing for half their current price I'd say they are fine for what you get.

If you don't know any better and don't have many other different scopes to compare them to you probably won't care or happy to be ignorant about it.
