I just bought an ATN X Sight II for my Airforce Condor. Anybody know what is needed to convert a Condor dove tail mount to accept the Picatinny mount of the X Sight?
Hmmm! Guess I better take another look at the pictures of the base of the X Sight. I don't have the scope in hand yet. The scope is on it's way but I don't yet have it to look at. All I have is youtube videos that show the base of the scope. These adapters look a bit short to my recollection. Maybe I'm wrong. Do you have a Condor with an X Sight mounted to it? Are you sure these work?
WOW! Those babies are expensive! But so is everything else in this hobby. My trouble is I don't yet have the X Sight in my hands so I can look at the base of the scope to be sure what is required. All I have are youtube videos to look at and I can't tell for sure if these are exactly what I need. I don't have any experience at all with Picatinny. I've never had anything but dovetail. I'd hate to spend $55 plus S/H to find out they won't fit the scope, or they won't fit the Condor, or both. Do you have a Condor with an X Sight II mounted with these adapters?"Str8tshooter"I use the Sportsmatch RB5
I ordered the Kentli batteries and charger and also the external battery pack with cable and pouch to mount on the gun. I should be good to go on power. I also ordered those inexpensive UTG adapters that Tom suggested. Just looking at the pictures took me awhile to comprehend how they work. But it finally dawned on me. I think they'll work just fine. What I like the most about them besides the price is that they don't add height. You raised the issue about height and the risk of being too high for the ballistics calculator. I think that's a valid concern and these adapters are the lowest ones I've seen. Thanks for your input."Str8tshooter"BeemanR7, sorry I am not able to give you more specific information, I have not used the Scope in awhile and I am currently away from home. I am not even sure if I have the latest firmware? Going by memory I think I have .619? If you are not aware you will certainly want to use an external battery.
