I have been trying to hand pump my Gauntlet to finally be able to shoot but it has been to no avail. There is air bleeding from the connection (see image I have attached) could it have been something I did wrong? Any way to fix? Or is it one of those things that I need to call and get replaced. Help is greatly appreciated. Just wanna be able to go out and shoot it for the first time on such a beautiful day.

I would guess without the OP answering that there is a 1/8" nipple between the female nut an the female QC. The female fitting is going to need the proper male connection to make it seal and I don't think the nipple he's using is going to ever seal. I believe they call that a jic female nut that uses a tapered ferrule to make the seal. I could be wrong though. OP, does the connection just upstream of the female nut ever get correctly tight or does it feel loose after tightening?

Did you use this exact fitting that should have came with the pump?

Try nipping up the joint between the hose and Foster fitting. If it is already tight, It may have been overtightened and thus, damaged. The fitting on the end of the hose appears to be a compression type and should be matched with the correct reverse conical end type male connection like most probes have. If nipping it up doesn't work, you will need the correct fitting. Your first move should have been to contact whoever sold it to you. The advice that you get here may be helpful but you will also get answers to questions that you didn't ask, half-truths and downright false information.

Lay that assembly on a table flat and spread out, so all can see the parts and pieces from hose end to quick disconnect. Use an arrow to show exactly where the air is coming out at, not just a circle encompassing a couple of parts. I think this will help all to help you mo bettah!

Also, tell us where you sourced the fittings to get to the QD. I think JKing is on to something.

So I got the the pump and the adapter from AirGun depot, and sorry guys I am like brand spanking new and some of the terminology you guys are using I don’t quite get. But is the adapter https://www.airgundepot.com/air-venturi-foster-female-quick-disconnect.html. It was suggested to me by the rep at AirGun depot. As a note, I ended up grabbing 2 wrenches and tightening it real tight the adapter to the line and it seemed to have helped but it feels like I shouldn’t need that much force, is that typical?
