Tuning Need help with FX IMPACT M3

So I bought a brand new FX IMPACT M3 .25 caliber.

I got it to 100 bar pressure and when I tried shooting a pellet, it got stuck in the barrel. I tried several times before ending up disassembling the barrel and removing the pellets.

When I cock it empty and do a empty fire, air comes out of the barrel but with a pellet it just getts jammed in the first part of the barrel, probably where it's being loaded.

Is there any fix for this? I know I'm totally new and please bear with me but I've used a much cheaper PCP gun and I had no issues with that.

Thank you!

My bottle pressure and ny first regulator were at 100 bar but my second regulator pressure was at 50 bar. Did I ruin it? :(

The pellets I used are H&N 1.83g, 28.24 gr

Is this considered a slug or a pellet? Asking to know how to adjust the barrel, for S or P..... If the gun is not completely ruined. I did shoot with los pressure many empty shots and about 7 or 8 pellets that got stuck and I removed simultaneously.

Thank you

No, you did not ruin it.

You may have bruised it a litlle. If they are Barracuda Hunter Extreme, They are pellets. Clear the barrel with something that won’t scratch the inside, like a wooden dowel rod. Turn up your front reg to 140bar and your second to 90 bar and try it again IF you have not messed with the other adjustments (power wheel, hammer spring and valve). If you have, contact FX and they can give you default settings from which to start.

My bottle pressure is now 220 bar, ky first regulator pressure is 142 bar and my second regulator pressure is 95-98 bar. When I shoot the gun empty, it shoots air but as soon as I put a pellet in the magazine it gets stuck at the begining of the berrel and does not shoot out. What am I doing wrong? The gun I have is a fx impact m3, caliber 0.25. The pellets are 0.25 caliber and I tried 3 different types of pellets. I always remove the barrel and manually take out the stuck pellet before I attempt to shoot another one.

Something unusual is happening with your gun. With the settings you specify, even though the 2nd regulator seems a little low to me for a .25 cal gun, it should still be generating enough power to shoot a pellet through and out of the barrel.

Did somehow your valve adjuster knob at the front get all the way closed down?

I would also say to check the breech seal o-ring, but even if that was damaged or missing the gun should still produce enough power to shoot a pellet out of the barrel.

You have made sure to key one of the notches at the breech end of the barrel onto the pin in the block, so that at least one of your transfer posts (P or S) is facing straight down?

This is a puzzle to me and unfortunately it sounds like your new gun may have to go back to the dealer.

TMH, first of all I would like to say a BIG thank you for your time.

I can increase the presure in my second regulator by turning the key slightly, I don't think that is an issue.

The barrel is inserted the corect way with the P facing down, and the notches at the breech. The barren can been seen fully inserted on the magazine side. That's 100% sure.

On the other hand my valve adjuster knob at the front, right above the bottle looks closed and doesn't let me move it.It moves about a few milimeters(sorry for metric) clockwise and reverse but I see on Youtube it should definitely rotate more .... I tried attaching a photo to this message but it give me an error. I uploaded it on https://imgur.com/3gGpBiK

Please let me know what you think I should do ....

Have you checked to make sure the o-ring inside the breech is in place and intact?

Is the pellet probe fully seating and sealing the pellet? Does any air puff out near the magazine when firing?

Is the C-1 threaded on fully and not stripped?

Your valve adjuster looks to be completely closed based on an MKii, you should have 4 lines visible on the collar (someone with an M3 please correct me if I am wrong here).

I bought this M3 brand new a month ago and never fired a shot with it so I'm trying to avoid voiding the warranty eventho I think it's a bit too late for that now as I've disassembled quite a few parts from it trying to make it work. It's so frustrating paying so much for a gun and not even working out of the box.

Did you take the barrel liner out then re-install it backwards perhaps? The end of the liner with the groove goes toward the rear.
