Need Help RE: Omega Super charger

having trouble with burst disk leaking air. Last time I topped off my tank to 4500 psi no problems. Two weeks later it's time to top off tank again. Hook up take, open value to equalize pressure and burst disk is leaking air. Remove burst disk bolt and remove the disk (first pic is the first disk). Second picture is replacement disk on right and the old disk on left, notice the blister on the old disk. So I replace slightly tighten burst disk bolt, open tank value it gets to 1000 psi and air begins to hiss again from the burst disk area. I take a look and see the same blistering on the newly installed disk??!! (See third picture). So what gives?? Can anyone help me with this?

don't know, i've had mine about 6 months and i did burst one disk, replaced it and tighten everything back up and no more issues. I would check all your lines and fittings on the compressor hose. I had an issue with where i connect the tank to the house blew a seal there and had a leak when i fixed it i over tightened something and air would not go into the tank so it built up pressure really fast in the line, but my tank gauge read like 500 psi.

Had one burst on mine. But replaced it and not had any more trouble. Not sure what would cause that to happen. Maybe somthing stopped up? May try to let it run for min and then try again.

I had to replace the housing itself. Seems it is real easy to over tighten and crack the housing. By housing I mean the fitting that you place the burst disc in.

Take a look at the check valve under the cap on the top of the compressor, just beside the burst disc cap. Take the check valve out and look at it. If it is distorted or funny looking, replace it with one of the ones included in the parts kit included with the compressor. Then replace the burst disc and see if everything works better.

I had the little center piece in the check valve go bad. Motor stalls and trips the thermal overload when that happens. Then right after had two burst discs go. Looked exactly like your picture. The everything thing has been fine for last 30 hours. Really no explanation on the burst discs.

I had the same thing happening and posted the entire ordeal on April 8, 2015. I think Micheal moved the post to Manufacturers Feedback. If you read that post it describes everything I did and had done to repair the Omega Super Compressor.
