Need help!... My Air Ranger is not cocking.

My Air Ranger had an small leak in the charging port and with the limitations of the pandemic I decided to try to fix it myself.

I cleaned the filling port, put all pieces in place and refilled the gun. The leak apparently was gone.

But the rifle can not be cocked. The bolt comes back without preparing the shot. So it does not shoot anymore.

What should I do to make the rifle able to be cocked again?

I will appreciate your feed back.

Your trigger may be adjusted for to light of a pull. This can cause the sear to not engage with the hammer. Try adjusting your trigger to a slightly heavier pull and see if that doesn't help.

Just unscrew the filling port (foster), cleaned it and screw it again.

It worked ok just before fixing the foster leak.

Does it index the mag at all, or does the bolt come back to the rear with no clicks or anything?

Have you tried pulling the bolt to the rear and trying a little more oomph on it at the end of its travel?

For reals though, when you pull the bolt back, do you feel any resistance of the bolt contacting the hammer and overcoming the hammer spring or is it just a smooth pull back with no resistance?

The travel of the bolt is continous and not clicks nor any other feeling that efort. It returns inmediately.

The piece that moves the magazine moves bach and forward normally.

Yes, I removed the stock. I have done that many times.

I have previously also adjust the hammer to increse and/or decrese the power.

Before removing the foster I adjust the hammer to reduce power a little bit.

GO AHEAD AND INCREASE the power DOES it shoot normal? If it does then you need a lighter hammer spring to do what you want it to do otherwise fine tune it and not back it down too much. Yo!

Found the problem!!

But do not know how to solve it.

The triger mechanism has three pieces (cap screws) that goes side to side. One fall out when filling the rifle without the stock.

No idea how to put it back in place.
