Need help identifying this huge cat that moved thru the yard this morning...

Mr. uhfradarwill,

I am not sure if it is a mountain lion or not. I need something to scale the size better, it does have the gate or walk of a big cat, so I am no help at all. I do appreciate your trail cam video, I usually have one going every night, as we enjoy seeing what is lurking about. I also use them to find where a rat might be in my wood piles, I can plan my night time hunts with this information.

If you don't mind, how do you post your Browning videos to this forum? I have the Browning Recon Force camera and it does a good job for me. I am old and techno impaired, no cell phone and never have been able to post any videos. I can post pictures OK, but that seems to be the limit of my capability.

We had a beautiful bobcat come by 2 nights ago, a grey fox which is here all the time and just one hen turkey which has been here about 2 weeks now, plus a small deer herd with 2 pregnant does that will have the fawns any minute.

This picture was the handy work of our local lion a year ago, I have videos of the cat I would like to share but never figured out how to do it.

You can see the claw marks on the back of the deer and the cat came back later and covered the deer with leaves and fed on it for a few days. Do be cautious around kills because the cat is still around and will feed on the carcass.

Good luck with your trail cam, stay healthy and safe

Mr. uhfradarwill,

It is very possible, you see what ever you want to see...

I thank you for helping me with posting the video, it took all my mental ability and I feel drained now. It has been on my bucket list to post a video on the forum for quite a while.

I put ground squirrels, rats and gophers on the stump for what ever is hungry, we have had lots of visitors to that stump looking for a free meal.

Good luck with your trail cam, stay healthy and safe
