Need help for a PCP

I had an FX Dreamline for a while, very accurate. It's issue was when you bumped the barrel it shot somewhere else, not the best for a squirrel rifle.
I had read this and iirc they changed the barrel mounting. I bang mine around pretty bad in a soft case and it's still holding zero perfectly. I do have a short skinny shroud one however. If all my guns the dreamtact my disco and me aea hpss are the only ones that don't poi shift if you look at it wrong. The impact took a year of work to stop this so I do not include it in the list.

The FX Royale 400 in .177 or .22 would work well for you. As a bottle gun, shot count is high, and the Royale uses the original solid barrel, which is very stable in attachment, and the action is simple and reliable. It is the only FX I would recommend. The bad news, they are hard to find, and might even be discontinued.
The Daystate Revere and Weihrauch HW100 are both great, but as cylinder guns, might not meet your shot count requirement, at least at full power. I have an HW100 in .177 that I have tuned down to about 11.5 fpe, and it's shot count is impressive. I've never counted, but I believe it is over 100. At that power level, you can set the reg down a good bit, which saves a lot of air. It's a carbine, but has the longer rifle cylinder. If you get the tuning to suit you, it's a rifle I recommend.

I pull this gun out of the safe by the moderator and send a few shots down range every day. Allways consistent, always accurate always the same poi. It is the 2nd compact W/C I've owned. The first one I gave to my son. Actually, I would compare it to another gun I owned, the FX Bobcat.

FX's SIMPLE guns are stellar (Royale, Wildcat, Streamline, Dreamline, etc.). Most of the negative comments I've read here are by people who base their opinion on experiences with their more complicated, o-ring laden guns like the Impact, for one example. Imho, SIMPLICITY RULES! They DO have guns that can deliver accuracy & repeatability without all the work & frustration that accompanies it.

ROYALE 500, .25,
Impact MK2 .22/700mm,
Crown. MK2 22/500mm,
Panthera .22/700mm,
DRS Classic .22/600mm,

...lots of use, no issues, problems or leaks. Happy with all of them.

Leopard .22/700mm - pending

Cheers!

Well, you already put the PCP guns down once and it seems picking one back up might just be temporary until you get Mr. Itus back under control. If that were my situation I wouldn't go all in on an expensive gun when I can make the same little holes as the higher dollar with some thing much less expensive.
After all.. PCP guns have the same characteristics now that made you put them down before. I don't care who makes or much much you pay for a PCP, they all need some level of attention at some point. Orings don't last forever. I hear folks all the time talk about the quality of their guns and they use the same orings the cheap ones do. And that's typically where they all fail.
Just my opinion. Never have and never will pay more than $300 for an airgun. Now maybe if I depended on it for survival I might reconsider.
Well, I'm not going to panic and do something foolish but I do want to keep shooting pellet guns. If I have to go PCP to shoot I will, damn the cost.

Well... there are these....

and this...

There are codes to get 40 off one the gun and 10% off on the compressor. Both get good reviews by folks that actually paid for them and use them.

It pains me to say this but, I think you'll find Mavericks too heavy, even my compact weights a bit. My Sapsan is way lighter BUT I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know, it's an orphan until the Russia/Ukraine thing ends. ON the Mavericks once you get the little details sorted out they are reliable as all get out. You are going to need pressure, IMHO plan on a decent compressor and a 70cf tank. My .22 Compact will get 60 or more shots with a slightly larger tank. Get rid of the 10# worth of optics  and it's not too bad now that I think about it.
