Need air gun practice near vernon

Dear All,

I'm new in USA. Living in a house in Vernon, CT. I love practicing on air guns. I need some safe place to practice shooting using my new air gun (Magnum 0.22) without making any violations.

I would do a little quick computer search for gun ranges in your area. Best place to start in my opinion.

I just went through this same exercise in NC. I found a reasonably priced private outdoor shooting range that was 30 minutes drive from my house. 

Try and locate an outdoor range that has distances from 25-100 yards ideally. Indoor range is good too, but I like the weather and elements for the challenge personally. Some of these ranges also have shooting courses, hunter safety and other education classes available that you might enjoy. Good luck!

I live in the New Haven area and have been to most of the gun clubs in the state shooting skeet and trap.

i would say the closest to you would be the Hartford gun club which is a first class facility with a nice rifle range or Bristol fish and game which holds many acres of prime hunting land and a nice rifle range as well.

as others have said google gun clubs in ct and you will be amazed at how many small well equiped options there are to join in the fun

Come join us at center sports of Columbia this Saturday. It is only 20 minutes away from Vernon.

We will shoot airguns indoors at 20 yards archery range. We'll start practice at 10 am and will have 40 shots standing / kneeling match at 11 am.

Wooster mountain is okay - it's limited to 50 yards or less. If you go, try to get a low bench on one of the ends - you'll have a quieter experience and less of the AR/AK guys brass flying at you.
