Need advise on filling pcp air chamber. When I open the valve on my scuba tank,

Have you used it before or is it a new one. I have in the past have had the same problem. My bleeder screw was hard plastic, and over time the point wore out. Had a machinist friend resurface the bleed screw. I would suggest try to remove the bleeder screw and check the surface of the cone. If it is a new one it could be a example of crappy QA department in china, set it back to where you bought it from. Hope this helps the figure out the problem.

I had to put a dab of grease (silicon) on the end of the bleeder valve screw every couple fills on my scuba, That stopped the leaking.

I got tired of that kind of crap from the china made Omega value and got a value assy. from Joe Brancato and have not looked back. Value opens real slow and easy.
