Need advice with RWS 34

This is one of only 2 springers I own, the other is a MM tuned Xisico XS12. What I want out of my 34 is easier cocking and a smoother shot cycle, I'm an old guy with tendinitis, if it increases speed, that's a bonus.
What is most likely to give me what I want? Vortek or Gas Ram?
Who would you recommend I send the 34 for a full tune if that's what will get me what I want?
Yes, many of you say this is easy to do myself but I don't feel like making or buying a spring compressor for only one springer.
I own between 20 and 30 CO2/PCPs, but I like these 2 springers and enjoy shooting them when my shoulders feel OK.

Easier cocking and a smoother shot cycle will really ( I have had both shoulders repaired) only come from reducing power, a "12fpe" kit would be perfect, a full power kit may be fun but will not help your personal issues. Do remember many good folks are required to shoot sub 12fpe rifle ( think UK and other) and have no problem taking rabbits at 50 m and/or scoring well in target shoots. Get a 12fpe kit.
Perhaps stay away from the gas ram kit until bugs are worked out? I only know of the one person making ( taking of making?) a ram kit for a 34 and the last time he made them they didn't last too long at all.
As far as a spring compressor, IF that is your only reservation you can make one for e few dollars and some thought. The amount of pressure is not extreme ( it could easily tho maybe not safely be compressed by hand ) any common bar clamp will hold the spring pressure, And you want "dummy pins" for the 2 pins that go through your trigger group.

Try 12fpe, your body will love it, shot cycle will be smooth and easy, groups should be outstanding.
