N/A Name most affordable .177 or .20 pcp that can fairly easily put out 28-34ftlbs with 13.43 & 16.20

Yes I know that the .177 is hard to hot rod and less efficient.
.20 available in 15.89. Hope they aren’t all deformed like soft .22 15.89.
I like the 13.43 and 16.20 for pesting out to 110 max. But I use .25 for targets up close to see hits better. It depends on what you’re shooting at. This beast of a .177 is desired for long range targets and pests.

I, don’t mind single shot. I like quiet and no ping. I don’t like guns that don’t fill via FF QD. A probe is a deal breaker for me.
I know what I want but wife would be really rightly mad with me. Oh boy. $1700 mad.
So what should I get? Avenger pup? I don’t really like AEA unless it’s refined and quiet. I don’t think they even come in .177

Get a condo with 24" bbl in .177 and push these bad boys @ 1000 fps for 35.98 fpe. Fine a good slug (Griffin) and go higher

Ya know this .22 prints 1/4-1/2 10-20 shot group tethered so I KNOW a .177 could.
Might as well go .20 then.

No no. It could but I think it’s in a shorter multi shot platform for under 600 pimped? AEA has a probe or it is a decent block

I need a throw lever for the Swift. I can spin the AO with my pinkie. It’s not side focus but it’s great glass and great smooth everything. I’m glad I didn’t sell it even at $225 as I think I would have to spend about 800 to get similar quality

The Avenge-X is available in .177 and the platform is .25 capable so it has plenty of power.

Reasonable priced, externally adjustable and, by what I've seen, the accuracy is very good.

Can't speak from personal experience but I've put my money where my mouth is. I should have a .22 caliber X in a couple of weeks, hopefully with .177 and .25 barrel kits as well. Then it's a matter of waiting out the cold Canadian winter until decent shooting weather in April.

Airgun choice is (very) limited in Canada so there's many potentially suitable models but I can't suggest anything else in you budget range.

Good luck with your choice!

Cheers!
