Happy Mothers Day!
Pretty nice conditions but those darn weird swirlies get us. Ed got me, Doug n Bob held them off.
Turns out one needs to be cautious of different (new) slug lots too.

It’s nice to see the range from the higher number lanes. Maybe at the next match Ed you move to the lower numbers . (To those that have never been to Open Grove, there are only 14 lanes. The wind is different at each bench. Watching the wind flags tells the whole story).

Lou - That pellet ( Thomas ) gun does pretty good against those two Rim fires. Three 249’s!

What pellet and weight were you shooting?

I like the half bench on lane #3. I shoot on Lou’s bench during the week but he’s been shooting so well down there I’m afraid to use his bench. I can’t keep up.

He is shooting that gun with 40 grain Altaros slugs. He should just say "Thomas" and not add pellet. He has a polygon hybrid slug/pellet barrel.

Actually, it's a pellet rifle. The barrel it came with, a month ago, I found shoots slugs really well too. It wasn't planned to be a combo - I got lucky.
