Since we have our 4th N50 event this Saturday I figured I had better put some practice in at the range. I shoot quite a bit at home but it’s mostly at 30 yards or some quick 10M indoor lead therapy session. Naturally when I got to the range I noticed my RTI Prophet's reg gauge is pegged, arrrrrggggghhhhh. After several shots the reg settled down but I could see it creep up continually so I’ve got to do some maintenance before the weekend. Oh well I tried to make the best of it today because it’s hard to pass up the relatively calm and rare conditions.
Our rifle house has garage doors and they are always closed and we get a LOT of weird unpredictable fliers. I asked Mike recently if he thought if we opened the doors and allowed the air to flow through if it would reduce our fliers and he responded with a
so I gave it a try by opening all the doors today and he was right once again. My fliers were significantly reduced and my wind calls were much more predictable and reliable.
I also had my old Avenger with me so I had some fun with it too.
