N50 classes

So I'm looking at the N50 rules to sort out the classes.

"Note, the following five rifle rules are requirements for each unique rifle type used in the three N50 classes."

Ok, so there are 3 classes.

I do a search for "class" through the rules and find this;

"Sportsman Slug Class"
"Pro Class"
"Sportsman Class"
"Pro Slug Class"
"Pro 22 RF Class"
"Unlimited Class Rimfire"

:)

Can anyone sort this out for me please?

I'm looking to shoot a 30 cal air rifle.

Thanks!

There are 3 classes and one new trial class this year.

Pellet
Sportsman
Pro
Factory Rimfire (trial)

A 30 caliber air rifie is legal in pellet and sportsman.

You may shoot an air rifle with slugs in sportsman but you are capped at 100fpe.

The pro and sportsman classes allow both air and 22lr rimfire. They are not separated. They shoot head to head.

To define what a competitor is using in either sportsman or pro...the words slug or rimfire might be added to the name. They are not individual classes.

Mike, as I understand it the trial factory rimfire class will closely follow the ARA rules and the rifle cost is capped at $1250 MSRP? Any out of production rimfire or MSRP will be in the sportsman class? Will the rest choices be open for the new class?

The Factory class will follow the Price cap of $1250 MRSP and list of rifles, and that is about it.. As far as rests, two pieced, bipods and sand bags only. Triggers, aftermarket allowed. Single shot trays are allowed. This class will be a trial run and hoping new shooters will get involved.

We are working out the details and will get them out shortly,

Thanks,
Joe
