I have a .30 FX king that I will shoot at the PAC and this gun jumps around during the shot cycle which makes it no fun to shoot! Constantly having to reacquire the target. I used to shoot a 6mm ppc 68gr. At 3300fps that was much more enjoyable to shoot and tracked straight back! Reacquiring the target was as simple as moving the gun forward 1” and right back on the bull.
The FX is pretty accurate but I don’t have the time to sort this gun out, last year considering the conditions my first card was on par with the relay I was shooting with but blew it on the second card (par for the course with me!
) back to the point slow moving heavy pellets at a hundred yds is a crap shoot… all the moving parts in a high powered airgun make them very unstable and inconsistent! The gun is bouncing around before the pellet is out of the barrel
