My Zulus’ first critter…🤓

I cheat, I snipe at 20 yards and under haha
I will be setting up closer, just couldn’t resist the opportunity… I have to get use to the scope and reticle, will be incorporating one of the following posted up by a fellow member.🤓👍🙏

Yeah, I think I'm going to get a ds35.
The Zulus has higher resolution but the DS35 has a bit more control over the image. I've got both, they have their strengths, I lean towards the Zulus, I'd be all in if the darn reticle actually worked right, either FFP or SFP, it's like pick one and make it bigger. I understand they're getting to it in a firmware update...I HOPE. I don't have the LRF version and I'm still trying to learn it. The DS35 is spot on the rangefinder as far as I can tell.

I have ”profile A” as my 40 yard zero and “profile B” as my 12 yard ratting zero. Different “profiles“ for different elevations/distances. Am digging the scope, the thin arse reticles? Am hoping, like you that Arken is taking in the feedback on the reticles. I will be sending an email inquiring about it. When they address that, this scope will become simply awesome to me for nighttime pests.

For being a new product, it has it's warts, but on the whole it has lot of promise. The reticle size is programmatically not complex to change, so hopefully they are working on that as an upcoming firmware change. The LRF version (I have both) is working well although the ballistics charts are a PITA to upload from your phone compared to some of the other systems. The view quality is very good compared to the others - especially at the price point and on sale!

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment, but I'm looking at the new Hik Micro 4K also as I like what I have seen so far, but it's difficult to get over here. I dumped the ATN and use the PARD and Zulus for all my night ratting and bird shooting. It's like diving at night... you don't know what you've missed until you do it!

I was powdering sidewalk chalk scored into four pieces at 25 and 40 yards and my 50 yard rat silohuette this evening, recorded. Can only imagine how much better I could do with a better look at the reticles. The view of the reticle through the screen? Muy malo… Please excuse the shakiness, I was standing and shooting off a at least 60+ year old camera tripod.
