My Yong Heng healed itself!

THANK YOU all who responded after I posted about my compressor's odd behavior ("My YongHeng problem...."). Ran a full diagnostic leak check again today for spits & giggles. The ONLY thing I did differently was to check the one way foster on my fill adapter. It was fine, functioning & clean as a whistle. This time when I ran the compressor I kept the tank valve closed until pressure in my lines hit 4,000psi, THEN I opened the tank valve. Thought I'd see the needles just sit at 3500 as they'd been doing but LO & BEHOLD, GLORY HALLELUJAH the needles rose as my tank actually FILLED!!!
Thanks guys for trying to help me solve this very strange conundrum. That's one of the reasons I come here & stay here. STILL don't know what was going on but everything works (for now) & I'll probably never have an answer but then, what's life without a little mystery?

Thanks Matt! The PCP "game" & it's multitude of peripherals to support it probably puts a lot of people off from getting involved but it's the opposite for me. The more complicated & involved things get the more I'm intrigued & want to master it. Maybe being a drummer trained me for that. Why just own one instrument when you can have 5 & twenty pieces of hardware to accompany it & have to load & unload all of it at every gig :unsure:. Maybe I'm a Masochist.

@Gerry52 I’m with you there bud. When I read the title I almost had an Osteen moment, then I read your first post in the thread. That tickled me. 😅 Glad you got it sorted out.
