My Wildcat Broke

My fly shooting Wildcat decide to start shooting wide right and low. I adjusted and tinkered. Using an Athlon 6x24x50 FFP.
Decide scope(fairly new 1 week) took a dump. swapped out for another 4X24x50.
This thing shoots where it wants. won't hold a six inch group. adjust scope and it flies off anywhere it wants. Never high!
never hole in hole (no group) Maybe a couple shots within an inch of each other but then there they go again.
I'll call AOA Monday. any ideas before then. No I haven't cronied since problem started. Same JSB 18's I've been using since I bought the rifle.
Nothing changed except where it hits which is a question . I wouldn't even stand ahead of the rifle!

Breech Oring is a potential prob. On my .22 - I went thru the 1st one in two weeks of use and then every 4 tins or so thereafter. Switched to Viton brown oring 4 months ago and hasn't had a problem since. Daily shooting many tins.

for the Viton, you will def want to remove barrel to install. Good video on AoA channel. If you don't take your barrel off, you might end up wanting to pull out your hair in frustration. :)

lol... I'm late to the conversation. :)
I was going to suggest clipping or an O-ring as well. These things come loose or break without any obvious signs other than shooting wild, which could potentially be a number of things.
Really glad to hear it was a simple fix and your back to enjoying tight groups! Perhaps a touch of blue lock-tite? ;)
Happy Shooting!
