My Weihrauch 97 K in .177

My Weihrauch 97 K in .177. It has a Tinbum short stroke kit installed. This reduces the FPE to just under 12 and it makes the piston stroke quicker. It's is very smooth shooting because of this. The kit can be taken out and the power level raised back up. It has sling mounts, perfect for the field. Best pellet I've found for it is the JSB 8.44. This is a typical 5 shot group off sand bags at 10m indoor range. I bought it second hand and it’s a real gem.

Cheers!

Thanks! I'm having a blast with it. I had a TX200 could never get it to group. I was a beginner and was probably not too savvy on holding sensitive. Dang nice gun that I miss now.

The sling swivel was on it when I bought it. However, I have one like it on a 30-30 Winchester. You can google for 30-30 Lever Action Sling Mount Kit Split Band Winchester 94 and several pop up. Hope this helps!

Switched from pcps to a 12fpe HW97 springer just for simplicity. Trying to practice for WFTF. I started with buying low end PCPs, tinkering in the hope of making them accurate for field target. With the hw97, you know it's good enough for competition. It's the shooter that has to be tinkered with.

You know when I see guns like that it sorta turns me off from field target. Seems like the guns have gotten so far from what most people would recognize as a gun and so complicated it would just take the joy out of shooting . Please don’t be offended my my comment it just my thoughts. I’ve got no place to shoot FT so my option is irrelevant
