My two VIXENS

Feeling rather smug this week, I llike my EDC AGT Vixen Short which I love cos its LIGHT, compact, weatherproof and accurate. And was easy to lighten even more. My Arthritis and Long Covid strictly limit what I can carry and shoot. So two years ago I bought a Vixen short in .22, I cut down the handguard, removed the rather ineffective shroud and fitted it with an unbelievably cheap 3D printed moderator which is the quietest moderator I ever owned, I fitted open sights at times but generally use a Red Dot. What an amazing carbine it is. THEN bloody AGT had to bring out the Mk2 with a longer barrel (bout 2 inches) . A Longer and larger plenum chamber, A longer Pic rail, and a better shoulder stock . So I blew my pension on a Mk2 Vixen short and tweeked that as well :), Roughly 2 pound lighter without the shroud and metal fore rail. and its a tac driver out to 40 meters.
