My thoughts on Hunting accuracy...

Nice vid and great shooting. Your vids have me looking at Hatsan. Why do pellets tend to spiral at high speeds = pressures? Is it the rate of spin? I don't think so because the length of bbl. wouldn't be a factor. I recall reading an article about black power rifle projectiles and power. The writer took very high speed footage of projectiles as they left the muzzle. At very high charges,150gr. FFg, the flat solid base of pure lead conical maxi balls were deforming or mushrooming due to the higher pressure of the heavy charges. Is this what is happening to pellet skirts at very high pressures needed for 1000 to 1300 fps? Anybody got a high speed camera. The one thing I have not seen in the pellet world is a sabot round. They would be a spendy way to go supersonic and not for me. If I need more that 900 fps out come the powder burners.
