This is my taipan vet long in .25, has power plenum , donnyfl tanto, custom cocking knob from mtnghost and is running an Element Optics Titan for glass and a Accu-tac HD50 bipod (plants this beast nicely). Also running a digital gauge which I installed last night.

This rifle is a tank and shoots like one too.

Shoots 33.95 jsb @ 895 fps very well

Groups on splatter target are at 60 yards (first two GROUP pics)

Last group shown on splatter target was 115 yards full magazine.

That's getting it done... with authority! Love the looks of that stock too.
Thank you, I really do not ever see this beauty going anywhere unless I decide I want out of the sport. I could write up such a long review and would barely touch anything remote to negative about it.

While not a fan of the bullpup form, think I'm gonna have to get a Veteran sooner or later. Just too much going for them... Don't want to be the guy who missed out on the fun!
If you were to ask me to touch on a couple negatives,
Everyone rags on the cocking lever position, yeah, most certainly not optimal however, easily overlooked when you shoot the rifle, I find it to be a non issue entirely. The cheek weld is also a thing that could be improved on but again, I personally dont mind.

The Standard Veteran shoots the 34 gr JSB Knockouts @ 900 fps for 30 good shots on the reg. Extremely accurate. Very compact thumper. I have zero complaints about the rifle. Build quality is excellent, built like a tank. Weighs about eight pounds with a scope, sling, full mag and reservoir.
When I got the rifle, it was shooting them around 950 ish fps , I detuned it, I get about 50 at 895 with the long . Its amazing!

Nice shooting. I would like to see what it does with some of the new H&N Heavy Slugs.
This rifle is intended for pellets , I tried shooting some nsa 35s and 45s , the barrel has too much choke and with shooting pellets out to 125 yards ( I was breaking clay pigeons) I'm satisfied.

Follow me though as I am doing testing with my new Alpha 🐺 .22hp with slugs.

Nice looking groups! What's your primary use? Hunting/varmints/targets?

Well I got into airgunning for just target shooting however I've been asked to take care of some pesky wabbits this weekend and some pigeon out in NY in july.

I have three Vets and none of them like NSA slugs and I tried several. I‘m hoping the new H&N slugs do better but couldn’t find any the last time I ordered some ammo. The .25 I have is a compact, so I probably won’t get any for it. My long is a .22 that has a few mods so that’s the one I will try the H&N slugs with. I also have a .177 standard and will likely pick up a few H&N heavy slugs to see how they shoot in it whenever they’re available.

Please keep me updated, I'd love to sling slugs from this thing , believe me. It just shoots these heavies so good right now I am not displeased at all.

My .25 compact loves Polymags if you want to try something other than a standard pellet when pesting. They also leave a nice big hole in critters and just sound different on impact. You will definitely need to decrease your hammer spring tension some since they are only 25 grain. I had noticed you said something about cheek weld, I bought some 3D printed cheek rests off eBay for my three Vets and they definitely help with that.
