My squirrel nemesis bites the dust.

I've taken out over 50 squirrels with my hw50s since I bought it last year and its really knocked the numbers down, and kept them out of my attic. However this fat guy refused to give me a shot for the last couple of weeks. He would run in grab some food and run off.

Finally today he stopped for a second to eat a peanut and it was lights out.

HW50s 177 with JSB hades and recently tuned by motorhead. The tuning especially the trigger really helped with accuracy. The squirrel and this target were both 10 yards (target 5 shot group)

Nice! I shot seven of these little sh_t heads last week. Two of them were perched on the top of tomato cages wreaking havoc on my beloved tomato harvest at the time of their demise.

I've had 9 since i got my hw50s back from motorhead. I just picked up a compatto target and getting to grips with that so it will probably see action soon

Nice! I've had similar experiences with ground squirrels. Every so often one will be very hard to get. When I finally get him it's kind of a mixed feeling for me- "yeah! got him!" So long, worthy enemy! I've had it take months to nail a particularly wary one. Good going, crack a beverage!

LOL same here. It took me weeks of stalking a ground squirrel multiple times a day to finally get him. Now I almost miss the little bugger! He deserved to win, but it didn't turn out that way. Oh well, at least he won for a good long while.

Oh, and edenwildfood -- great shots!
