My springers are in trouble

I have 3 Diana springers, D48, D350 and D460 and I really like them. The most appealing thing about them is that I can grab some pellets and my fieldpod and go in the backyard and just plink away. Well, I recently got Umarex Gauntlets in 177 & 22 cal, and lately, I've been grabbing one or the other and going in the backyard and just shooting. I ordered a couple of 23ci tanks to replace the 13ci tanks that came on them and this should boost the shot count to over 120 shots per fill. So I have a feeling that the springers are going to get even less attention.

I am glad I am not the only one that is feeling a little springer sadness. I feel bad that I am not using or enjoying my springers as much anymore. I will be getting me one of the Gauntlet .22's but right now my cash stash is recuperating from a few other toy purchases. I just watched 4 videos of folks grabbing their Gauntlet .22 and drilling stuff at 50, 75 and 80 yards and it was not a professionally tuned session. Just site it in and go hit stuff, I am excited to see what It will do for me. I am glad to hear you are enjoying them, Diesel.

Whenever I feel my offhand shooting slipping my open sight springer and a week or two of offyand practice with it tightens things up.

Back into the hobby after some time and though the new purchases are all pcp, when I left and slimmed the collection only the choice Springers remained......

I actually own 5 times as many PCPs as springers. My springers were my "get away break" from PCPs, but the Gauntlets are kind of letting me do what I got the springers for which is "no worry" shooting .

I shoot many PCP guns but from time to time I leave them in the gun case and reach for my LGV. What a wonderful little gun. Easily worked on (I added the metal tuning trigger to mine) and amazingly accurate. It'll hold it's own with the PCP guns. The fit and finish is first rate. Right out of the box at 25 yards, it'll keep 5 touching easily and 10 or so can easily be put into the space of a dime. What a great gun, cant say enough good about it.
