My Second Zeus Kill

This hunt was the next day at a different blind. It was a 43 yd shot on a 110 lb boar. The best way to shoot a hog is a central nervous system shot (brain or spinal cord). This drops them immediately so you don't have to track them. I purposely went for heart/lung shot to see how far he would run. The shot impacted his lower shoulder, traversed both lungs and lodged in the opposite shoulder. The bullet went barely over the top of the heart without striking it. The projectile was again the 630g Mr HP shot at 4600 psi. Hog ran about 20 yards from the feeder before collapsing in the brush. I was able to follow him 80% of the way with a blood trail but needed dogs to finally find him. It was dark and brush was pretty high/thick from recent rains. Sorry no scope cam footage.
