Ruger My second Umarex Ruger Mk IV

I just realized that the front site is missing from my Umarex Ruger Mk IV that I picked up last week. Hopefully I can find a replacement.
This is my second black Mk IV and I would like for it to be a silver one. Can anyone tell me if the silver ones are painted? Since there are plastic parts I suppose they must be.
