I did this setup for close range rat shooting between 5-15 yards among the cows. The PP700SA is a low power .22 calibre pistol/carbine and I added the Immersive Optic 5x30mm scope and the new Pard007S.

Will this setup work? Yup. I have shot two rats now at close range 5-10 yards.

Hope you will enjoy watching this one, cheers.

@max115 This is the type of video I’ve been waiting for. Thank you. I like how the Trigger Stick functions. Do the plastic components seem durable? Now I see that Pard made the 007s much shorter than the 007a. The picture quality in the day time looks much better on the 007s. You mentioned that the NV picture seemed dark. Have you checked to the illumination level on the integrated IR torch? The 007a had three different intensity levels that could be easily adjusted by the push of a button. I’m thinking they would have retained that feature in the 007s. As for the adapter that you affix to your scope. Eagle Vision made a decent one for the 007a. It was more secure and used a twist-ring with a plastic collet inside of it to snug it down to the scope. I haven’t looked to see if they made one for the 007s, but if it isn’t on the site and you’re interested, you may be able to send Masood a message inquiring about it to see it he has one in the making. In my interactions with him he’s been relatively timely and responsive. The Artemis looks great. Thank again for making and sharing this video.

@Long_gun_Dallas. Thank you.

@Ezana4CE. Thank you very much. The Trigger Stick is pretty durable. I think the darker picture of the 007S is due to the zoom of my IO scope being 5x and the Pard007S is 2x (I think), so the focus is zoomed way too tight. I tried the built in IR adjustments, but still dark as compared to my 008. However, with an external 850nm, the picture is much brighter and usable. I found the 007 adapter on Aliexpress and I am waiting for the extra one.

side note: I just got in from my coyote hunt using my Impact MK2 with the Pard007S and external 850nm IR. I was using the trail cam as an indicator, facing directly towards me, 30 yards away from my tent. The trail cam would lit up when there were movements (coyotes). The footages were pretty good both from the trail cam and Pard007S.

Spoiler alert, I missed.....But that is another story and video to follow.
