My second coyote at 70 yards

Back to the farm where I shot my first coyote last year. De Ja Vu again as I got the same opportunity, same distance. But this time I was shooting it with my Impact MK2 .22 cal 600mm slug liner slinging H&N 23gr slugs with my new installed power plenum just a couple of days before.

Again, shot placement is the key.

sweet shot. We rarely get shots at Coyotes sitting around. Ours are usually on the trot. Congrats, keep up the good work.

yes I got lucky both time. It was extremely rare for them to just sit there with the side profile. It just go to show how comfortable they are at this property where they would come in and out to scavenge food. Too close for the safety of the owner and her livestock. We are very lucky and fortunate to have the opportunity and permission to shoot here.

thank you hitech. it was windy and the shot placement was a bit off to the left that I preferred. Otherwise it would have just lights out like the first one that I got a year ago. But the slug hit with so much more energy than my 18gr pellet, it was no chance for the coyote to survive. thanks for watching.

Great video Max, though they say there are a lot of coyote in my area you very seldom see them and never have I seen one during the day, nevermind just hanging out giving a side shot. Talk about everything lining up at once. Scary to think that they are that comfortable around that farm to just lay out during the day.

@snowdog. yes it is very rare to see coyotes roaming freely during the day but they are frequent visitors to this farm and have no fear to the presence of the home owner. She told us that one time a very large male was really close to her house and just casually walked away after she yelled at him to get lost. These coyotes are skilled predators and any opportunity they get, they will destroy and kill any livestock that easy prey. So we are happy to be able to help the homeowner out.

@Dave. yes they are very smart and beautiful creature. sorry to hear about your cats. As long as the homeowner needs us to dispatch them due to her safety and her livestock, we will gladly return to take them out.

Have you ever tried .25 slug? My friend wanted another FX impact to shoot slug but he is not sure .22 or .25. His application is up to 150yards
