I'm working on my iPhone scope mount. I picked up the items from my local home depot. I'm using pvc parts. I bought several pieces to try, but the clean out cap with the wrench end cut-off gave the most flat surface and surface area for joining the phone holder to the pvc. I used four 1/4"-20x5/16 nylon hex bolts. These should be easy on the scope surface. I drilled and tapped the pvc for the nylon bolts. The pvc slides over the scope with 1/16th clearance all around and the 4 nylon bolts hold it tight. More pics later after the finished coats of paint.
