I guess electronics are very important to some folks. I hope that is never me.

The electronic trigger of the Renegade (only electronics I have ever been able to test) is awesome.

The time among pulling the trigger and pellet flying feels the very best on my rifles.

It is an option. Some have concerns about the electronics, as I had as well before trying one. Now I wouldn't hesitate a single second to get another one for my style of use. I probably wouldn't carry one in the field regularly but I'm glad I got one now. Certainly, one should not get one if you don't like them, for whatever reason.
