FX My Plenum Scares all the Squirrels From the Yard...

TLDR FX Wildcat BT 2nd Reg delete / 12.5inch+ plenum space with two parts slightly modified.

Kind of came to this monstrosity by accident. I was trying to delete the 2nd reg and double the plenum space. I ordered a 2.5 plenum extension from Cape Fear AG by mistake, realized it was meant for the the non-bt Wildcat and didn't really fit the BT version. So I ordered fx part 2026 from europe airguns which was the correct part but landed the gauges and the fill port right on the stock. So I got to looking at everything and ended up cutting the top part of the 2.5 plenum extension (see below pic) from cape fear AG to make it fit with BT version plenum. The parts now it clear the stock without having to modify the stock.

Not too sure how I feel about the looks but I'm glad I didn't have to cut the stock.

I'm shooting around 73 fpe in .22 with the enlarged huma transfer port/slug probe/13 gram tungsten hammer @160 bar.

I did this to a dreamline. I love it. This is the kinda "because I can" stuff i like.
 
My question is why did you want to add to the plenum? The Mk3 bottle version has an 89cc plenum already? If you follow recommended sizes, that equates to something on the order of 89fpe at 1cc/fpe, and we all know you can go even higher.
That puts even a 33gr pellet/slug in the 1100 fps ballpark. What are you trying to accomplish?

I feel like I've hit a bottleneck in my .22 as the additional 2.5 plenum did not seem to do anything besides help me clear the stock.

To get from 60fpe to 70 fpe took some work with the wildcat bt 700mm, FX says the wildcat bt sniper .22 should hit 70fpe with 34 grain slugs stock. I did not get 70fpe stock with my wildcat unless they just meant cranking the reg pressure to 185bar.

65 at 140. It was a 25/600. But, stock the gun had to flex every little dreamline muscle it had to hit 54fpe.

I got no where close to those numbers stock or modified. I was hoping the 2nd reg delete would get me to 80 fpe maxxed out (150-160bar)and I would settle around 70-75fpe day to day and max it out every once in a while.

I feel like I have a bottleneck somewhere and the only thing I can think of is my fx slug liner is really tight. Not sure what else I could try besides a weaker valve spring(if that's a thing with the maverick/wildcat bt)
