RTI My personal RTI Mora experience

It's not my job as the end consumer to have to strip, modify & put right a gun that is brand new & purchased as FAC (full power).

This is not how the experience should be, tuning yes i totally understand that. But not hours, days, weeks of time & money trying to figure out why a new gun isn't performing as it should.
so was the port the wrong way up

that should be directed at highland outdoors, they dont have a clue.
but on the other hand would you want them in there doing stuff:eek:

i have already said to rok he needs a better importer, they are the ones causing the problems.

i think they are now due us around 1500 slugs because of their fecklessness
Could've been worse, he could've chose Sportsman Gun Centre as his importers 😆

I agree, it never should be. But I cannot come and bring a new one, nor can you send it back to us. Unfortunately it needs to be communicated thru the dealer. I do not know how smooth that communication was. I was just notified that the barrel was changed.

We wish to get the gun back to take a look, but unfortunately that is not possible due to being outside EU, so the dealer is stepping in. We also hope we will get the barrel which you returned to take a look. That would make it the first bad barrel after few thousands, but it is, of course, totally possible.
Glad you have stepped in. I hope we will see the results of this problem and how you corrected it. Also is there a video showing how to repair Any of the o rings that would cause leaking through the witness holes? A tutorial on these repairs would be greatly appreciated, thank you,

I really love RTI Airguns, I have three and will never sell them. Even when I read a post that isn’t a positive post usually it’s not full of hatred, but just frustration and usually RTI steps in quickly. In the US AGOA is amazing with RTI help and repair on the west. Their service center quickly helps even if it’s just over the phone with time. Also a shout of to Tony at Talon on the east. He’s also really great. I buy a lot from Tony and he is great with a lot of available RTI inventory. Got my P3 from Tony. RTI makes a lovely product. Not perfect but a great high end usable accurate hunting/competition Airgun that lasts that can be past down to your kids.

So glad to see RTI jump on this. Would be great to know when the Mora is back and how the end results stacks up on the target!

Ok here’s my question and issue. I have a mora .35. Mine started to leak air but from where? None of the witness holes ever bubbled and it was driving me crazy. I never had air coming from barrel, then I found it by accident. My hands covered in soapy water because I decided screw it I would just spray the whole gun and the butt plate had bubbles the hammer, hammer spring, air hammer. Whichever you call it and mine looks nothing like the one that’s not shown on the mora details page, looks kinda like the one shown in first pic and kinda like 2nd pic

But I don’t have a spring that fills the back slotted slide or guide, I have a small spring and a little pusher rod and another tube with a hole. Can’t seem to find anything online on how these parts go together. O ring fell out in pieces, so no who knows. AOA don’t have a diagram, Havnt heard back from RTI and this gun is like 2 months maybe, had to trade in the first one because one day it was shooting fine and I refilled with air and then it just woukdnt fire, it clicked and it did shoot a pellet maybe 20 ft but something went wrong for no reason. The hush 50 somehow a pellet clipped the internals of it and it broke into pieces maybe 2 weeks after purchase. So im starting to think maybe the choice I made was a bad one.
