If my memory is right those little grub screws are 2 mm , you can get a small box of them for less than 10 bucks from a commercial bolt and nut scource. I think there was like 15 or 18 in the box. I still have a box of them around here some where...
Does your 124 produce better velocity with AA pellets versus the JSB's ? Mine shoots the JSB 8.4 @797 fps versus 810 fps for the same weight AA. And both are equally accurate.
