I can guarantee it will last you a lifetime. I bought mine in 1967 and it still works just fine. Only service has been to replace the piston seal. Did actually bag a rabbit with it once. Congratulations!

I've got a 1968 Benj rifle. I use it in the summer to kill ill flies. Couple pumps and dry fire at 4-6 inches and they vanish!
