I just got my Benjamin Trail NP2 22 in a couple of weeks ago I had a Umarex Octane but the saftey had broken & i sent it back & got another one & it was also defective too so Pyramid Air suggested that i try the Benjamin so i took one & i am very glad i did it shoots hole to hole & it hasn't seen a pellet that it doesn't like yet I really am thrilled with it I like the Umarex but 2 in a row defective ???? the Center Point 3x9x40mmAO is awesome & it is very quite & easy cocking & comes with a BENJAMIN sling I had read about this rifle before i ordered the Umarex & i was impressed with it but i wanted the Umarex & it didn't workout so now my new Benjamin is a excellent 22 cal hunting rifle Squirrels beware this fall !!!

I have the trail in .22. It's not the np2 thoug. It's a squirrel getter too!! Pretty quiet also and if you figure out the hold it's accurate, just trying to keep the same hold is frustrating

One of my friends actually got the Trail NP2 recently as well. I have to admit it's a pretty powerful air rifle, looks cool too.

May I ask why you went with the trail rather than the XL 1100 model? I've been considering a non-pcp in .22. Any advice would be great
