My Jack Russell is at it again...

Riley murderized this chipper out of the drain gutter pipe with a little help from me. But he wouldn’t share the kill. So I shot this second chipmunk at 45 yards. Bantam Sniper HR sending JSB 18s at 875 FPS, which he promptly stole from me third photo. The first two images are of his kill.

After he got bored I was able to retrieve the bodies, the one with the bloody head was my kill.

That's a Jack Russell? I guess I was ignorant that they could come long haired. I've only ever seen short haired ones. I bet he's good at keeping the vermin beat back.

He’s a rough coat Jack and he’s particularly ungroomed at the moment, which is my fault. And yes he is good at making sure most critters stay clear of the house. I enjoyed your video very much.

I've never seen a Rough Coat Jack that looks quite like Riley either. I think it's the long hair on his head that makes him look like a lion, not a dog! Bahahahaa! He's a cutie though. Whoops, I mean he's a rugged, handsome dog!

One of my buddies has a rough coat Jack Russel that he brings along deer hunting sometimes. I know how tenacious they can be, but the one we hunt with is like the energizer bunny, even after being at it for 6-8 hours. He just never stops!

They are great hunting dogs for sure! Riley sure looks like he doesn't want to share(3rd pic), he's guarding that little bad boy! Does he actually eat them or just chew on and play with them? Cool pictures. Have a good one my friend!

@stoti, he just chews them up. In the past I believe he ate one and his stomach did not fare well, so now a few chews and he’s done. And yes, I do think he is ruggedly handsome.

@davelarson, today I get three rapid fire texts at work. My wife informing me that Riley just chomped a baby bird that fell out of its nest. His ethics are questionable. My wife was upset. So I gave him a good beating, I mean belly rub when I got home.
