Howdy Folks, my wife and I got interested in airguns a tad over a year ago and am just loving it. Ammo has become crazy expensive and these airguns are a great alternative.

My springers: HW45, HW97KT, Diana48

My PCP's: PP750, JTS Airacuda Standard

I come from a long line of tradesman and engineers. Many guns were around in our household growing up and wild game was often on the menu. My hobbies are pest control, motorcycles, mountain bikes, ice fishing and playing hockey.

Thanks for the welcome,
Gary

Love your screen name, WoodWelder. Got to be a great backstory.
Welcome aboard!
The story goes back over 50yrs. LOL

Back in the day late 60's early 70's we formed a skateboard club with a few good childhood friends. I was the first to create and build my own laminated wood board with two kicktails one on each end. It was then I earned the nickname WoodWelder.

Airguns, Motorcycles AND skateboards?

Did we just become best friends?

Welcome WoodWelder to AGN
I also have a HW 97 KT..love that rifle. installed a Vortek spring after mine snapped and can appreciate how it smoothed out the firing and recoil.
My first skateboard had metal wheels that was converted to a crate-scooter. Had an Alva board/Road Riders which unfortunately snapped..so sad. The head of the pepsi skate team lived up the road, and he had a giant half-pipe to play on. Lots of bruises, but even more fun!
Lots of friendly informative people here that are always willing to help with information (and how to spend your money)
Welcome
Mike

Now that is a collection of boards, very nice! Instantly, the two Max Headroom boards stood out then the Pabst Blue Ribbon. Then of course the vintage classic wooden board with the two tone grip tape.
The Coke boards were all NOS still in the box. The PBR Santa Cruz I found on Craigslist for $25. Sold those 3 and many others when I got deeper into airguns. I still have about 20 vintage boards.

The two tone grip board is an extremely rare TurningPoint board. You might remember the TurningPoint "capsule" ramp from the 70s often skated by Kent Senatore. The board was designed by his brother Scotty Senatore and sported the industries first rails which are made of wood and still intact. I'll have a hard time selling that one if I ever decide to.

If you have a FB account, check out my page DreamStreet Skate. I have posted many old skate videos ranging from the 60s to the 2000s. It has over 90k followers and counting but I no longer post there as I have exited that social media platforms.

Started at age 6 in 1986, still cruising to this day at 44, it has been very good to me in some very bad times and afforded me the opportunity to forge relationships and interact with some of the worlds best known skateboarders including Steve Steadham and Steve Caballero. My dream is to meet and skate with Rodney Mullen. Thank you, skateboarding.

Welcome to the best AGN , what part of the country do you reside in ?
I think I found a great home here at AGN. You folks are most welcoming and I'm very humbled.
I'm half Yankee but was born and raised in Alberta Canada. My mom is in a home so I'm bound to stay until she passes. When that happens, I'll be living winters in Sweet home Alabama.
That is a darn good song too? HAHAHA

Keep it up and you will stay young. I tried to get back into boarding at 40 and well lets just say, I failed. LOL
I used to be quite good at one point.
I kept up with hockey all these years and still play and can still keep up to the younger crowd. I was an elite player and was going to play pro in Germany but as luck would have it, injuries held me back and money offered in 1980 was a joke and not worth the risks.
