My Impact fits me now

Hi all 



So I have been on and on about how good my Red Wolf is , and it is .. I have had a bunch of stick over here in the UK saying that I am biased towards the Daystate, so I bought an Impact . So got it out of the box and found that it didn’t shoot anything well at all , this was down to me really not knowing a bunch about them and it’s still a earning curve . I got it tuned and that made all the difference , got it to the field and that’s where the next problem started , the gun was tiny , the LOP was awful and I could not shoot it well at all . I am not a giant by any means , but standard the gun was way too short . A call to PRS would solve this . Check out the pics , talk about transform the gun!! He made an incredible butt pad , and the rail is bang on too ! I love this gun now and maybe think I can shoot it far better . Well let’s see

Its definitely different that a rifle. I owned a bobcat before I bought my Impact so I had a jump on the bullpup style/length. You got yours looking good.

Help on the acronyms please? What are LOP and PRS?

LOP should be Length of Pull, but I'm not familiar with PRS.

Do you need a new case to fit the added pieces? I just brought home my new MK2 today and was thinking about the adjustable butt but I'm not sure it would fit in the case that came with the rifle.

I just slide it off and put it in the FX box next to the gun . Dead easy

Nice addition. I didn’t like the first Impact I had because I didn’t like the fit either. After they had been out a while and these addons became popular, I purchased another Impact with the adjustable buttstock, the extended bipod rail, and the adjustable cheek piece and it became my favorite rifle. I actually miss it. This is a great addition.

I agree , I think it looks better too , I use PRS on all my guns and for good reason .
